2. What data we collect and why

Contact form enquiries

When you submit an enquiry through our website we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and the details of your project brief.

This information is sent directly to us by email and is used solely to respond to your enquiry and discuss your project requirements. It is not stored in a database.

Lawful basis: Legitimate interest — responding to a business enquiry you have initiated.

Website analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website — including which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and where traffic comes from. This data is aggregated and anonymised.

Google Analytics may set cookies and collect your IP address (anonymised), browser type, device type, and referring URL.

Lawful basis: Consent — analytics only runs if you accept cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your cookies or using a browser extension to block Google Analytics.

Cookies

Our website uses the following cookies:

  • Strictly necessary cookies: Required for the website to function. No consent needed.
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): Set only with your consent. Used to measure site performance and visitor behaviour.

You can manage or withdraw cookie consent at any time through your browser settings.

3. How long we keep your data

Enquiry emails are kept in our inbox for up to 24 months from the date of your last contact, after which they are deleted. If you become a client, relevant project communications may be retained for up to 6 years for accounting and legal purposes.

Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics in accordance with our configured retention period (26 months by default) and Google's own data retention policies.

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers who help us operate the website:

  • Google LLC — analytics and workspace email. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Data may be processed in the US.
  • Vercel Inc. — website hosting. Servers are located in the EU/UK where possible.
  • Cloudinary — image and video delivery (CDN). No personal data is passed to Cloudinary.
  • Matterport — 3D virtual tour hosting embedded within our site. Matterport's own privacy policy applies to their platform.

We may also disclose your data if required to do so by law or in response to a valid request from a public authority.

5. Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure — ask us to delete your personal data where there is no compelling reason for us to keep it.
  • Right to restrict processing — ask us to pause processing your data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent (e.g. analytics cookies), you can withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@bulldogproductions.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

6. How to complain

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK's data protection authority:

Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)

Website: ico.org.uk

Helpline: 0303 123 1113

We would, however, appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns before you contact the ICO — please reach out to us first.
